AWAI’s 2020 Copywriters Initiative

As one of a handful of AWAI’s 2020 Copywriters Initiative, I’ll receive personalized training, coaching, and mentoring from Sandy Franks who, for the last 30 years as one of the most influential marketers in direct response, has worked with and launched the successful careers of hundreds of copywriters.

And now she’s ready to work directly with me — as part of her mission to find new copywriters for AWAI and the direct-response industry in general!

It’s as if I’ve just been “hired” by a major direct-response firm — and Sandy is my Copy Chief.

I’ll have Sandy and her team’s full attention for the next 12 weeks.

Together, we’ll work on an assignment — either a “spec” letter I’m working on now … or I can choose a practice assignment from several of the most lucrative niches.

Each week, we’ll meet online to do a “deep dive” into one aspect of the copywriting process: research, the Big Idea, headlines and leads, the body copy, the offer, the close, the order form, and more.

I’ll submit my writing to Sandy and her team along the way — and receive timely, thoughtful, constructive feedback on every submission.

If I have questions, I can email Sandy anytime throughout the entire 12-week period.

And at the end of it all, I’ll have a finished, polished, professional sales promotion I’ll be proud to show any potential client.
