Clinical Case History – Six Session Series Description

Christina is determined to lose weight and keep it off. Christina has lost weight before and gained it back.

Susie Kappas establishes great rapport with Christina during these six sessions. She helps her guide, motivate, educate and support permanent healthy weight-loss. Even though Christina consciously wants nothing more than to lose weight, it’s hard for her decide what weight she wants to be, and we begin to notice that Christina has a lot of subconscious resistance and many fears about losing weight.

Susie works in hypnosis and cognitive therapy with Christina to help her feel more confident, motivated, and self-love. She also helps her build a healthier self-image that is at her ideal weight. Susie helps Christina understand and strengthen the reasons for her weight loss and assists her with her diet. She helps her stabilize her blood sugar, strengthen her metabolism and reinforces these healthy eating habits through hypnosis.

While building her up and strengthening her mind and body, Susie then begins to gently uncover Christina’s blocks and subconscious resistance to losing and maintaining her weight loss. Christina has lost 100 pounds in the past and then gained it all back due to her fear of being noticed by others. Each week Susie helps Christina to overcome her subconscious resistance. As Christina becomes more conscious of her resistance, she is able to break free.
