How I Got Started In The ATM Business.

I bought my first ATM in 2000 when I met someone that turned me on to the idea that I can make extra income by placing ATM’s in local businesses. At the time, I had no clue that someone like you or me could even own an ATM. I was working nights at a night club/bar as a bartender and used to get asked at least 5-10 times a night if we had an ATM. The minute I found out that an individual could buy and own an ATM, I immediately jumped on it and placed an ATM in the night club I worked at. Sure enough the ATM immediately started making me money! I knew I wasn’t gonna get rich from this one location, but at the time I was happy if it payed my car payment every month. My first location was averaging me around $500 per month. That was enough for not only my car payment but my car insurance too. Even better, within a few months I got a 2nd then a 3rd location. At this point in my life around 2003, my primary job was in real estate sales and I was making great money with it, so the ATM business really wasn’t my focus, until everything changed.

When Life Gives You Lemons… You Make Lemonade!

I always looked at the ATM business as extra income and just a side hustle. Fast forward 4-5 years later the real estate market crashed and I was completely out of work. Trying to figure out how I was going to support myself, I started bartending again and decided took a hard look at the ATM business as a full time job. Fast Forward a few months, I had around 10 ATM’s that were bringing in around $4-$5000 a month. Thank god I had those locations, as they saved me from financial collapse during this incredibly difficult economy. The money I was making from bartending and ATM’s got me to a point to where I was comfortable. But, I wanted more. So, in that moment I decided to go all in with ATM’s because I know I couldn’t bartend forever and wanted to build a passive income stream that would last me well in to my future.

Time To Turn Up!

I became more aggressive prospecting new locations, and before you know it I doubled my portfolio to 20 then 30 locations. It was crazy! With 30 ATM’s I was bringing approx $9-$12,000 per month! 30 ATM’s sounds like a lot but I was able to service/fill them in 2-3 days working about 4 hours a day. If I worked 8 hours a day I could have them done in 1 1/2 – 2 days tops. When I say working, that basically consisted of driving around listening to the radio stuffing my face. Not exactly a hard work day! Fast forward to today and I have over 100 of my own and service another around 125 ATM’s for others generating me a six figure income, still not working a full 40 hours a week. No boss, no time card, and no one telling me what to do. I love being my own boss! If I wake up on a particular day and don’t feel like working (and this happens 50% of the time ..lol) I go to the beach instead. Don’t get me wrong, it took a lot of hard work and persistence to get to this point, and nothing was handed to me. Guys, the income is great, but the freedom this business gives me to enjoy life and work on my own terms is priceless! With almost 20 years experience in the ATM business, there isn’t really any scenario within the business I haven’t come across. I have become a direct distributor for all the top ATM manufacturers offering ATM’s at wholesale prices, and I offer ATM processing to merchants as well as other ATM businesses. I’m pretty much a one stop shop for someone looking to start up in the ATM business or just wants a better deal with the ones they already have. Recently there have been other courses popping up that sell you the dream of becoming financially free. But when you peel back the layers you find its someone that has only been in the business for a few months if that. The business model is an easy one once you learn your way through it. But there are crucial steps when getting started that if you don’t know what to look for, your just going to be setting yourself up for failure. So, If this something you are considering.
