April L Cox, DO, DO

Dr. Cox currently is Medical Director of Radiology at Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes, IN.  She also is Lead Interpreting Physician of the Good Samaritan Breast Center, which holds the American College of Radiology Breast Center of Excellence designation. After attending medical school at the University of Pikeville Kentucky College of Osteopathic Medicine (UPKYCOM) in Pikeville, KY, Dr. Cox went on to complete her diagnostic radiology residency at Garden City Hospital in Garden City, MI, and then completed a body imaging fellowship at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, MI.  She is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Osteopathic Association, American College of Radiology, American Osteopathic College of Radiology, American Roentgen Ray Society, and Radiological Society of North America.  She has held leadership positions both locally and nationally. Dr. Cox also has been recognized for her outstanding contributions by Women in Medicine as a Top Doctor. She has lectured on many topics including breast cancer screening with the desire to educate patients and colleagues on screening guidelines and advancing modalities..
