This introduction to the fundamental elements of a grounded spirituality will set the stage for the explorations and methodology that follow. Jeff will define and contextualize key terms, such as patriarchal spirituality, New (C)age movement, enrealment, Western consciousness, grounded spirituality, and the presence-purpose bridge — and will clarify their significance for your journey to wholeness.

Jeff will explain the distinction between the spiritual bypass — an often necessary, yet ultimately dangerous coping strategy — and an enrealed way of being, a grounded spirituality that simultaneously embraces all that we are and all that is, without sidestepping or avoiding reality.

He’ll also share some of his own personal story, and invite you to explore and honor yours — warts and all — in a way that illuminates its sacred and transformative properties.

You’ll explore the meaningful distinction between mastering your body and inhabiting your body. You’ll discover why having an embodied experience is absolutely fundamental to a grounded spirituality and an enrealed way of being.

You’ll learn to listen to, speak to, and honor your body. You’ll connect with the sacred stories that it holds, and the secrets it has to share with you.

You’ll engage in experiential exercises that will teach you how to ground your consciousness and to know presence as a felt experience as you explore your embodied humanness as an individuated portal to divinity.

You’ll also discover the difference between an armored and dissociated body, and one that is fluid and rooted in reality.

In this session, you’ll:

• Learn tools and techniques for grounding, inhabiting, and honoring your body
• Recognize that spiritual awakening is synonymous with awakening to your body — while realizing you are a human being having a spiritual experience
• Discover the crucial difference between an experience of presence that emanates from a disembodied and fragmented consciousness, and one that emanates from an embodied and inclusive consciousness
• Learn how to make inquiries into what your body is holding onto, and what it needs to let go of
• Explore the pitfalls of too much witnessing of your thoughts rather than feeling your feelings and going into your felt experience

You’ll go deeper into your physical body to excavate, express, and release any unresolved emotional holdings such as grief and anger. Explore the spiritually significant distinction between the power of now and the power of then.

By clearing any emotional debris, you’ll create space inside for your sacred purpose to reveal itself.

You’ll explore the idea that repressed emotions are unactualized spiritual lessons. By granting yourself permission to release, resolve, and work through blocked feelings around various life events, you’ll embody the transformation at your core and grow in soul stature.

At the heart of grounded spirituality is the belief that emotional and spiritual maturity are synonymous. That is, the more work we do to grow emotionally, the more we grow spirituality.

By working through your issues, you become more fully available to the moment and able to live an enrealed life. Because you no longer need to transcend the pain-body, you have healed it and integrated its wisdom — it allows you to grow in karmic stature.

In this session, you’ll:

• Learn practices to help you de-armor and clear emotional debris, including the excavation meditation and barking dog yoga
• Experience the meaningful distinction between a physical body that is filled with unresolved emotional material and one that is cleansed and purified
• Free yourself from the patriarchal obsession with the monkey mind as the source of your malaise by dropping down into the body and engaging in practices that cleanse your physical body
• Discover the difference between the pain-body and the joy-body — and understand that depression is really a frozen feeling

Now that you’re more connected to your body and have greater access to its innate intelligence, you’re in a better place to examine New Age aphorisms and cliches that may have limited your ways of thinking and moving through the world.

The New Cage Movement refers to the more extreme framings and interpretations of New Age thinking, which imprisons our consciousness in a fundamentally ungrounded and unreal framework of perception. Not to say that these approaches aren’t helpful at times, but when you affirm and assert them in any and all circumstances, you prevent yourself from living an enrealed life.

You’ll examine your biases and conditioning, and embrace a more grounded, situation-specific, common-sense perspective.

In this session, you’ll:

• Engage in exercises that reveal the ways that your thinking has been co-opted by the New Cage movement and the toxic positivity culture
• Identify the roots of any tendencies towards New Cage ungrounded thinking — and why you gravitated towards it
• Explore common New Cage traps, including “Everything happens for a reason,” the “Forgiveness Bypass,” the “Anti-Judgment Judgment,” and “You are responsible for your illness” — and identify a grounded path to freedom
• Learn the difference between the Law of Attraction and a Grounded Manifestation approach and philosophy
• Consolidate an inner exercise or protocol to keep you grounded in your thinking when confronted with life’s challenges

You’ll focus on integrating neglected elements of the human experience into one inclusive way of being and level of consciousness. A grounded, enrealed spirituality requires that you show up for everything in your life rather than viewing life through a singular, fragmented, and fractured lens.

You’ll begin with your personal sacred story, and engage in practices and exercises designed to language it, honor it, integrate it, and acknowledge its sacredness.

This includes an exploration of the meaningful difference between self-realization, as seen through the existing spiritual lens of self-avoidance, and viewing it through a more human-integrative lens.

In this session, you’ll:

• Engage in practices and exercises that honor and integrate the details of your personal story into your spiritual life
• Learn about your habitual range of emotion— and explore what it feels like to expand beyond it in your daily life
• Develop a sacred blueprint for the integration of all of the dynamic parts of yourself into your experience of selfhood
• Work through any resistance to living an enrealed life, and instead show up for all of it

You’ll focus on excavating and clarifying why you are here and discovering your purpose. As you move through the course, further embracing a more enrealed way of being with a more grounded and inclusive consciousness, the more that embodied intelligence can reveal to you why you are here.

You’ll delve into a discussion on the relationship between the “here” and “why” as portals into each other — ultimately becoming indistinguishable from each other as you become clearer on your reasons for being.

Sacred purpose will be defined through all of its prongs: callings, gifts, offerings, archetypal transformations, finding your soulpod, and key emotional lessons you are here to learn.

You’ll explore why your sacred purpose is indistinguishable from your spiritual life, and why it includes all facets of your gifts, talents, and emotional and physical struggles.

In this session, you’ll:

• Explore the relationship between presence and purpose, and between “here” and “why” — and how these relationships support your spiritual evolution
• Define what sacred purpose really means — and the importance of finding it in this lifetime
• Receive an understanding of purpose that honors and integrates your life’s journey

In this final class, you’ll be invited to identify elements of your own unique sacred purpose by engaging in exercises that will put words and give shape and form to your glorious “why.”

You’ll engage in a series of inquiries and explorations designed to excavate and clarify your soul-scriptures and true-path so that you can ground your path in your purpose.

You’ll also contextualize the inquiry of Why am I here? and What am I here to bring to the world?

• Discover how to authenticate pathways of possibilities and personal callings to see if they are fundamental to why you are here

• Learn about the importance of attuning to the little voice that knows
• Find the sacred balance between the ocean of Unity Consciousness and your individual droplet of meaning
