BRYAN WIENER

Bryan Wiener graduated from Georgetown University in 2000, whereupon he began his trading career on the floor of the CME in the S&P 500 Options Pit. Bryan continued trading as an independent electronic options trader at Simplex Investments in 2006 before earning a Masters in Financial Mathematics at the University of Chicago in 2008. Immediately upon graduation, Bryan joined Haim Bodek’s Trading Machines in Stamford, CT as a systematic options trader, later becoming Head Trader. He now trades full time as a fund manager.

Bryan’s expertise stems from a rare fusion of quantitative mastery and raw instinct developed during his years in the pit. He can talk formula’s with PhD’s and share adrenaline filled stories with old-school traders, a combination that makes him the ideal instructor for any student of options.

Bio

I am an industry veteran who has lived and breathed options for nearly a decade and a half. Having started out as a market maker on the floor of the CME, I went on to trade my own capital as a retail customer while completing my graduate degree in Financial Mathematics from the University of Chicago. I was recruited out of school to lead Haim Bodek’s high frequency options trading startup, Trading Machines, and most recently joined forces to build the Sang Lucci equity options market making desk and manage portfolio risk at the firm.

I’ve poured immense amounts of time and effort into this course. I’m all about efficiency and precision in my own trading, and I’ve brought that same ethos to the development of Sang Lucci’s Options Program. That’s why I believe it’s going to transform you, no matter what your background, into an advanced options pro.

First I’ll take you into the basic structure of the options industry and the functionality of calls and puts so that you can then proceed with the nit and gritty of the course: how to profit from an underlying move or hedge your portfolio risk.
